Priorities

My philosophy is to use taxpayer / ratepayer dollars in the most efficient manner to bring the greatest value to those who live here and pay the bills. My top priorities are:

1. Voters entrust the TCPUD Board. In turn, the Board must be faithful stewards of taxpayer and ratepayer money, exercise good judgment and the highest ethics, and protect the Tahoe environment in all we do.

2. Ensure that TCPUD continues to provide highest-quality utility service for all uses, including residential, commercial and firefighting, alongside protection for our Tahoe environment.

3. Manage spending and contracting to ensure that voter/taxpayer/ratepayer money is spent wisely and achieves the maximal possible value per dollar.

4. Continue TCPUD support of winter and summer recreational opportunities in our community, with an emphasis on the best value for our residents.
